My Second Check Up/Harmony Test / Mom Snuck A Picture
Today I had a follow up with my nurse on my blood tests along with a weight in. Everything went great! I gained a nice 7lbs since my last visit which was 6.5 weeks ago when I had my first ultra sound at 8 weeks. Today I am at 14.5 weeks and I'm sad I did not get to have another ultra sound because I really wanted to get more information on how my baby really is doing. My MD pretty much gave me the old fashioned ultra sound but did not share any information with me except that everything was looking great. I understand that during a quick check up you won't get everything you expect at that kind of visit. I did get to hear my little peas heart beat and that was enough for me to get through this day! I feel blessed so far to know everything is looking great! 
The Harmony test, because I waited one week too long I was not able to get the full package of the exam. I was only able to get my blood tests done. I lucked out on the ultrasound for them to check the measurements of the babies head and spine. I'm happy that I still get part of the tests done it just sucks that I had to pay the full price. That was my fault though. Ladies, if you are going to do this test please don't do what I did. I waited until my next appointment thinking it would be ok because it was just a week, but it is not! It makes the difference. My test results will come in 7 days and I can't wait to hear more good news and the sex of my baby!!
