First date : Food stuck in teeth

I realize this may be an awefuly weird question but I have a lunch date today and I have an undying fear of having food stuck in my teeth.
It's happened to me before and it was the most embarrassing thing because even though people notice, they don't tell you !
Has anybody had this situation before ? Any tips ?
