no fetal pole!?

Question

Got an early US at 6 weeks. They saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac. No fetal pole. They told me to come back in a week and that I might be earlier than they thought. Anyone have this happen and have everything be fine? If this is bad news this would be my second MC...

My doctor actually said the same exact thing today. Going back next week.

UPDATE: My doc called and said I'm measuring 5w2d. We are repeating US in two weeks. Trying to relax and stay calm over here.

I had that with my first. It freaked me out. Went back for another US when I was 8w and everything was fine. My doc doesn't do US normally that early for that reason but my husband and I were too excited to wait because we tried for a baby for a little over 2 years. Try not to stress to much momma.

I went today at 7w4d and had transvaginal US and they told me the same thing. Going back a week from today to rescan. Praying to see a little heartbeat. The dr said this could be a blighted ovum meaning all the signs of pregnancy are there including the sac and yolk sac but a fetus never forms. Hoping this is not the case for either of us!! You're in my thoughts!
