Was your membrane strip successful?

I'll be 40w3d tomorrow and my dr agreed to strip my membranes! I'd love to hear about your experiences 😊

I had my membranes swept when I was 40+3 at about 10:30am and my water broke that night at 9:30pm! Had baby the next day.

I had one at 39 weeks it gave me crampy feeling immediately and contractions pretty soon that afternoon that got stronger that night and consistent 3 am that morning... I didn't go in until 1:00 that day... I was only dilated a 2 they were going to send me home but stripped them again which worked I walked the hospital for two hours dilated a 4 and had baby that night. (A day before my due date) So yes worked for me 😊

My Dr did a membrane sweep at 39+5 and I went in at 40+1 and turns out id been leaking fluid pretty much since the membrane sweep.  so they had to induce me that day since labor wouldn't start on its own.

I'm 38 + 3 today. I had my first sweep done last week, and another done yesterday. So far nothing 😭
