Can cold milk make a toddler sick?

I never heard of such thing as getting sick for intake of cold beverages or foods... I'm a nanny, which the toddler (3yo) refused to drink her warm/hot milk so I gave it cold and the father acused me of "are you crazy? she will be sick" "oh my god 😨😥" and as much research as I've done this does not affect the toddler and their health... 
by the way, he didn't pay me for my extra hours as a revenge so I'm calling in sick today

If he doesn't pay you over time don't work overtime.

No. My brother (who I babysit frequently) is 3 and has never gotten sick from drinking cold milk. It doesn't do anything to the milk except keep it from going bad (don't leave milk out of the fridge for too long that's when it makes kids sick). You only need to warm milk up for infants. And him not paying you to "get back at you" was stupid and shows he has a bad, childish, character.
