when did you announce?

So I know about the 1st trimester rule but I don't know that I will be able to keep a secret that long.

Also, how did you tell your SO that you were pregnant? My husband is out of town for work until June. I just don't know the right thing to do.

I'm 6 weeks now. We told all our family immediately. Like the same day I told my husband. I'm going back home to visit family tomorrow (in California.. we live in Mississippi) and I'm telling everyone there. Social media wise- we will announce after a little "baby" photo shoot on Monday. 
I know about the whole first trimester rule, but to me and my husband, we would rather rejoice and let everyone know and if the Lord decides to take our child and I miscarry, well then I have TONS of support instead of dealing with it alone and no one knowing what's wrong with us. 
But that's just our opinion ❤️

Fuck the first trimester "rule" I had two miscarriages so I was worried but when I saw the heartbeat at 8 weeks I told my family then posted it on Facebook and Instagram. As for telling my SO I just showed him the test as soon as it turned positive because we were tying for so long and I was excited.

With my first pregnancy I told everyone right away and with my second I waited about a month. It's so hard not to tell when you're so excited! You could send him a package with baby supplies and tell him he has the FaceTime you or skype you when he opens it? There's no way I could wait all the way until June lol!

I'm waiting until 8 weeks to tell family. But 12 weeks for anyone else. 
Only my boyfriend and a couple close friends know.

It might be cute to get him some sort of "soon to be dad" tee and mail it to him with a picture of the test. But let him know a surprise coming but he has to FaceTime with you when he opens it
