Sore Boobies

I'm 17 days away from my period, I'm on birth control and I've never had sore boibs 2 weeks before my period. It's always about 3-5 days before. I am sexually active with my bf and we don't use protection. Someone put my mind at ease - I always freak but I'm pretty sure I can't take a test because it's too early. Comments appreciated
