I want to get an ultrasound as soon as I can. My OBGYN office does not perform them until around 12 weeks. (And I have not confirmed this pregnancy with them yet.) So I will be going to a place that you can pay to get an ultrasound done, earliest they do them is 8 weeks. I'm still only 6weeks+3 based on LMP. Which means give me time to otherthink everything... I want to see my baby via ultrasound so bad but I'm also a bit fearful/weary. I remember the feeling of seeing my baby unmoving and not hearing a heartbeat during an 18 week scan with my first pregnancy and seeing an empty sac during my second pregnancy.. I don't know the chances of either of those happening again but it I still feel anxiety about it. Is this an irrational fear?
