Fellow migraine sufferers..?

I'm curious if anyone else has been prescribed Propranolol/oxpronolol for migraines? If so did it work? What dose did you take and how long before it worked?

I've started taking it & really hoping it helps.

Doctor made me get off propanerlol(sorry I know that's spelled wrong) before even getting pregnant.

I take magnesium supplements and it has worked better than the medicine. I've only hd 1 migraine since going off of it in October.

Yes I take propranolol. It's been the only thing that's ever helped me! I only take 10 mg

I was having terrible migraines. And started taking a magnesium supplement of 400mg, it has REALLY helped! I don't know about the other medication. My doctor prescribed firocet, but i was Leary to take it due to complications it could cause for my babies.

I was given Fioricent. It doesn't work very well but my doctor told me there are no other safe migraine medications to try while pregnant.
