Are you finding out the gender?

I have desided to have a surprise but it seems really uncommon wanted to find other mums in the same boat :)

I found out. I could barely wait until 20 weeks to find out I couldn't imagine waiting until birth!

At first I was determined to find out the gender, but I decided to wait. There are so few good surprises in this life--this could be one of them. Honestly, as long as it's healthy I'm good with either, but still, I think it'll be worth the wait.

What I did was I went to the ultrasound app. With my mom and she found out but not me and at 25 weeks she threw me a gender reveal party for the rest of us to find out. To me its more fun this way, its still a surprise, and you still have time to get stuff for whatever your having.

I'll be finding out at my gender reveal, so it's like the best of both worlds I wanted to be surprised but I also want to get everything prepared, so I came up with the gender reveal solution 😂

I didn't with my first but have with my 2nd and 3rd. With my 2nd I needed to know whether to keep or sell the boy clothes from my first. With my 3rd I feel it's helped my older boys bond before she's here as there's quite an age gap, my youngest is 5 and oldest 7 nearly 8.

For your first kid you really need the basic stuff from showers. Like bottles, diapers, changing table, crib, etc. There are some gender neutral clothes you can register for. I'm more interested in making sure I have bottles and a crib and diapers than I am worrying about if the baby had cute clothes.

I'll be finding out asap. I'm only 13 weeks (tomorrow) but I want to be able to get everything I need before he or she arrives. I'm not overly fussed about blue or pink or gender neutral things but I want family and friends to be able to buy things with some idea.

We are waiting to find out! My husband is old fashioned and I didn't really have an opinion either way. It's our first kid. I do ultrasound so that's the hard part!!
