One day late..should I test with different HCG test?

AF was due yesterday (4/29) and hasnt shown up yet. I hate being even just one day late because it gets my hopes up and then crushed when AF is late. Last time I was pregnant, I didn't get my BFP until 6 days late. But it ended in a miscarriage. I'm currently hoping for my rainbow baby. I have mild mild cramps every once in a while, sleepy, and a bit nauseous, but that's all. All the tests are BFN, even the one I took this morning. I used those cheap test strips...should I go for a more expensive one that detects the HCG sooner?
