Why the "baby can roll" etc posts?

I'm not trying to be rude at all, just curious. Why do people post things like "baby can sit up. Baby can roll". Is it for their own documentation? Again, not trying to offend anyone!

You csn document all this on your profile, but if you add a picture it posts it as a topic. Drives me crazy, so when I do her monthly pictures i just go delete the post it made

I think it's for their own documentation or because they're just super proud and want to share the milestones.

I'm glad you posted because I wondered the same thing. I'd see five or six of them in a row and wonder why people felt the need to post it all publicly.

Yeah I track the milestones on my profile and it makes you post to a group...i know it's a little annoying, but I like recording the timeline of milestones...also, the app chooses the words, so it's not us moms oddly stating "Zoe is afraid of strangers"....lol. The app lets you check off the milestone, and it has preset words that it adds your child's name to...

You can document all milestones for your child. When you add a picture you can share with the community or skip it.

It's the other glow baby app. If they document it for their own use then it gives an option to share with glow and creates a post

I think they're excited and want to share. It also helps the rest of us to figure out when other babies had milestones
