feeding/schedule

Hi mama's!!! My son is gonna be six months old may 10th... I was curious. How many oz of formula does your baby drink and how many times a day? My son is new to formula I stopped breastfeeding a month ago. He eats 5 oz every 2-3 hrs. Is that normal or too much? Also we introduced him to solids a few weeks ago, he is 18 lbs and was born 7 lbs so dr said once he doubled in weight and was 4 months we could introduce him to solids. He does great with that as well but I'm just wondering how often and how much solids do you guys feed your little ones? I know what pediatrician told me but I just want advice from other moms too. Thanks!
