Had a Decision to make today!
I turned down the blood work to check for Down Syndrome today.
1. Doctor said my baby girl looks healthy and perfectly fine!
2. I'm not going to worry through my whole pregnancy even if it did come back being a high risk for it if there is a chance my baby could be fine.
3. I could never abort the baby if it did have Down syndrome. My husband and I are so attached to our little girl already and being our first baby it wouldn't be a choice for us.
I want to feel bad for turning the test down but I don't at all! The test would be pointless for us. I'm proud of me and my husbands choice. Did anyone else say no also to this blood test?
