Stepmothers and Girlfriends to men with kids!
So my boyfriend of two years daughter she is 9 asked me what she should call me. I didn't quite know what she was getting at and said I like being called Rebecca she said she doesn't wanna call me that.. so I said well what do you wanna call me. She kept saying idk so I told her to make a list and I'd pick one.
1- Becca
2- Mom
3- Me Maw
4- Turd (she's silly)
5- Mommy
So I didn't know she really saw me as a mom she has a great mom that she lives with she is with us once a week and every other weekend. Me and my boyfriend have a son also and I concidered Avah a daughter but I'm not trying to to step on toes and make her mom mad. Any step parents or women with boyfriends who have kids why do they call you? Just curious I told her I would think about it and let her know. Her dad said well she isn't your mom and than she said well I call Ronnie her moms boyfriend dad. Just curious what other women in my shoes have done. Thanks
