What's your competition?

What do you have to compete with for your SO's attention? Mine is the tv & his phone. I honestly don't know if other women go through this. I'm wishing you don't. Sometimes I come home (he reaches home before me) and he's laid out on the couch watching tv and this goes on until bedtime. I try to talk to him but he never breaks eye contact with the tv. And when it's time for bed when it's really late, he tries to get all lovey (just to show he wants sex) and by that time I'm exhausted. I already had a long day at work and I just wish we could spend time together and talk about our day. Even if it's 10 minutes. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong group. I'm not too versed with the rules.

Your bf only seems to show affection when he can get something out of it (sex), and girl, that is a huge red flag. Talk to him about it. I'm not really fighting for anything but the only barrier is my bf works a lot of hours so he's put in a position where he can't give me a lot of attention, but I understand because it's not something he can help. If it's things he can change then you gotta have a serious convo about it.

I'm lucky in that when we are together, I don't have to fight for his attention. He might look at his phone but as soon as I want to talk, the phones gets put down and his attention is on me.

We're still only 7 months in, so as this is likely to change over time, I'm making the most of it! 😂😂😂

Yes I fight for his phones attention .. 
He's usually on there on his computer talking to people on fb ( not like ... secretly I'll add lol)

I'm really sorry that's happening to you :( technology has taken over our lives.. I feel like most women and men fight with their spouses phone and electronics for attention

The damn gym. My boyfriend competes in cross fit and there for spends a minimum of an hour or two at the gym daily. He helps coach, and plan workouts. I guess I shouldn't complain though because 1. I don't work out ever and 2. He has an a amazingly hot body because of it
