Daycare and Breastfeeding questions for experienced parents
Experience moms and dads,
My little girl will starting daycare in a few months (she will be 10 months old) and we are starting to tour daycares in the next couple of weeks. What questions should I ask and what should I look for on the tours?
Also, I will be in full time school and will not have time to pump between classes (I also have excess lipase, so I have to heat up my milk and immediately put it in ice water after pumping). I will only be able to
pump before school, lunch and after school. Classes are from 8am-6pm. Does this mean that I will have to stop breastfeeding? breastfeeding is very important to me, and I was wanting to wean closer to 2 years. Will she be on enough solids during the day by then that she will not need milk between 730-1230 and 1245-630? Or any ideas to help me continue breastfeeding?
