Wishing for a home
So this time last year me and my boyfriend found out that I was pregnant we was excited but also nervous as we have had a miscarriage once already. We had made plans to start saving as much money as we could to hopefully move into an apartment before our daughter was born. Fast forward to when I was 26 weeks pregnant... I had gotten server preeclampsia and they had to take my daughter via emergency c-section. She was born at a hospital over an our away from where we live. She spent 112 days in the NICU that means over 112 times driving to and from the NICU some days we would go up multiple times. We had gas, food, and if we wanted to stay the night in the nicu and they had a room open we would have to pay $10. We had to buy a new car as the one we had wouldn't make all the tips that far. I had to quite my job because they wouldn't give me enough time off so I could be at the hospital during her time in the NICU also she had some medical Machines that she went home on so I didn't really trust anyone watching her. After everything by the time we had finally gotten her home(we live with my parents) we had gone through all the money we had saved up for a place. Plus our car insurance has now gone up to over $300 a month. I feel like we are never getting a break and that we will never get to move out to our own place, but I am lucky that our daughter is home and doing great
