what do I do!! sos😩

So my boyfriend gave me this ring last year and was so happy about it and well I checked my hand after work and it was not there I looked all over the house nothing in car nothing at work nothing... is it wrong of me to buy the same exact one.... he paid 45 at a biker show and I'm about to pay 11 bucks is this ok?? What would y'all do?? I feel so bad for losin it.. cause he was so proud of it and he's 21 btw but he was so proud of me cause he told me don't ever lose it and I did.... any help should I buy it and keep it with me to the grave my little lie...
