Pain during ovulation??

Hello. I'm 19 years old, I have had a beautiful daughter a year and a couple weeks age and whenever I ovulate now it's very painful. Mostly during intercourse. I don't know who i should go and see about this. I dont know if it's normal or not. The pain on a scale 1 to 10 is around a 8 and 1/2...its very sharp pains that feels like it's in my ovaries. Does this happen to anyone else??
