Boyfriend says no to sex?

My boyfriend and I haven't had sex in almost a week. I asked him to several times last night and he just brushed me off until I eventually fell asleep. We're going on a trip with my family starting today, so it's unlikely we'll be having sex in the next 2 weeks. I just wanted a good dicking before we left and it went right over his head. I used to be able to not keep him off of me, several times a day level. Now I have to ask and he says no? What is this?

Note: I trust him 100% I know he's not cheating on me or anything. I just don't understand how he was so hypersexual for so long and has seemingly just stopped wanting it.

There may be something else going on with him. I notice a dramatic dip in desire when my bf is tired or stressed. Its gotten so bad before that I have demanded answers bc I was scared it was me he wasnt interested in. It also happens when he is sick. The one constant is other types of affection. Talk to your bf and find out what he feels like is going on. He may not even know, however. I think as women we are programmed to think the worst when sometimes the answer is simple. Also remember that as time goes on in the relationship, the sex spreads out, has dips and peaks, and can be affected by any and everything. Does it seem like he may be depressed? Depression or anxiety can tank your sex drive. I think you should absolutely talk with him about this. Let him know that you noticed he hasn't been as interested in sex lately and that you were wondering if anything was going on. It's so important to be open wth your partner.
