has anyone had a LEEP procedure and did it cause you any complications during pregnancy?

I had a LEEP procedure about 7 years ago to remove some pee cancerous cells from my cervix. I ocassionally bleed during sex but haven't throughout my pregnancy (I'm 21 weeks) Today after sex I bled a lot (bright red) I went to ER and they said it was due to penetration disturbing the scar tissue on my cervix but baby is fine. I have since read that having a LEEP can cause some complications during labor including more pain and preventing cervix from dilating. I just wanted to know if anyone has had bleeding during sex from LEEP or if they have had complications during labor?

I had a leep 15 years ago and my doc told me no matter how long ago it can cause cervix incomptancy during pregnancy. I'm 20 weeks and they've checked mine twice to make sure it's not thinning early. Checking it again at 23 weeks to make I don't need a clerage before 24 weeks. They haven't said anything to be about possible bleeding because of the procedure but I'm on pelvic rest due to placenta position.

I had a Leep in April and got pregnant in August with twins. 36+3 and not even beginning to dialate. I've had a lot of Braxton hicks throughout this pregnancy as well and my cervix is iron clad so I would say it may or may not affect you, but my Dr was never worried about complications from Leep.

I had one a little over a year ago and now have a 9 week old. They weren't concerned with my uterus and had no complica. I have heard some woman need to get a stitch to help keep everything good down there but I think they would know early on in pregnancy

I had one 8 years ago. I'm 21w, and I haven't had any bleeding or complications so far. This is my first, so I can't say anything about labor, but I admit that it's been a concern of mine too. My doctor hasn't been concerned.
