So, my sweet baby has croup! I feel awful! We were putting her to sleep like normal, but she was having a really hard time falling asleep and had this cough. It got worse and started sounding like a bark which I knew wasn't good so we called the on call nurse who said "Without a doubt, it's croup." The poor thing sounds so miserable and like it really hurts! Thankfully she slept all night, but I have to go to work today so I can't be with her. My husband had already planned to take the day off to be with her today, so I know she'll be well cared for, but I just wish I could help her. There's really not much they can do for it, just steam and possibly steroids if we think that's necessary. Has anyone else dealt with this and how did you comfort your little one?
