does anyone have a hormone imbalance and tried vitex?

My periods are irregular and after I had my ectopic my doctor told me I have a hormone imbalance meaning I don't ovulate as much like I'm supposed too. I found this on amazon and I read some good reviews just want to know if anyone has ever tried it on here thinking of getting it but not sure

I did/do, I took vitex and maca. I really noticed a difference with the maca but ultimately it was a diet change that healed me enough to get pregnant. I recommend researching ketogenic diets for hormone imbalance.

I started those yesterday i heard so many postive things about them. Im taking them to regulate my period and hopefully help me conceive.

I took it and I feel like it actually postpone my period by two months… However I've had friends to take it and got pregnant a month or two after they started. The thing about Vitex is that it's hard to predict what its actual effct on you will be. I would suggest trying it and seeing, but researching methods that may be more effective, particularly diet.

I've never taken vitex, but I take hormone balance pills with tumeric, and something called DIM (diindolylmethane). Tumeric is a natural hormone balancer. And DIM basically acts as estrogen, though it's not. But it helps balance the good estrogen in your body and prevents PMS and breast and cervical cancer caused by bad estrogen levels. I also take Maca, whether it's in pill form or putting a teaspoon of it into my morning protein smoothies. Maca helps balance hormones too.
