c-section ?????!!! any advice will help thanks

I'm 23 weeks nd my doctors never talked to me about how was I going to deliver my family says to do a c-section just to be safe first time mom and wanted to know how far along do they do c-section for twins

As long as baby A is head down I am trying for vaginal. My dr will deliver B breech so very slim chance of needing a double whammy. Personally for me I really don't want a Csection unless my babies go into distress and require it. Mostly because of the pain and recovery being so much worse.

My doctor said it will depend on the position of the first baby. If it's breech it's 100% c-section, if head - then she will let me try. She also said that sometimes the first baby will be born normally, and the second one requires c-section.
 I'm glad she is not jumping straight to the c-section, even though I know it's a much higher probability than with a singleton. With the increased number of twin pregnancies, I'm feeling comfortable trusting my doctor to do what's best for all of us.

I had a c-section at 38 weeks due to preeclampsia! Wasn't awful but wasn't fun either. First week is pretty rough and then after that just gotta move slow.

I wanted to try to go vaginal BUT Baby A is breech and baby B is transverse I am 34 weeks so it is looking like a Csection is the best way for me to go. If you want to try to go vaginally and the babies are in the correct position just advocate for yourself and tell them what you want!

I tried to go vaginal but ended in a c section due to failure to progress. I wish I would have tried harder to have them vaginal! But after 19 hours and still at 0 dilation I just couldn't take it anymore

While it IS pretty common for mom's of twins to have c-sections, I also know several mom's who have had a vaginal delivery

I have a lot of scarring on my uterus from a septum removal surgery so my doctor has said he highly recommends we just do a planned c section as he's concerned about the possibility of me rupturing during a vaginal delivery.  He's a wonderful doctor and I trust his opinion. He said without the scarring if the babies were in he right positions then trying for a vaginal delivery would have been a more viable option.  He also said he will not let me go past 38 weeks and sees me weekly so we can keep an eye on how the babies and my uterus are doing.
