6 weeks today with spotting?

I had some spotting today. Not much just a little pink in the toilet paper. Then a little later some brown mucous discharge. I'm a bit concerned and I'm hoping I'm not having a miscarriage. I am 6 weeks today. Anyone else have this happen to them? I just need some reassurance.  Called the doctor they just told me to keep an eye on it and if cramping and bleeding gets worse to go to ER.

I have posted a pretty similar post. I am having spotting on and off as well as cramping and lower back pain. It started brown then started going away and then today it is more red. Went to the ER and doctors saw a heart beat. They didn't give me an explanation though . I feel as if I have to be having a miscarriage and if I am there is nothing that can be done.

Have you had sex? I had brown & pink discharge after sex

In the same boat here. I'm staying reassured if it stays brown. Brown is old blood. Red is not. I've read if cramps happen with the blood simultaneously that's not a good sign.
