One year old and milk?

My one year old won't drink formula anymore and seems to hate all the milk we tried. We tried regular milk he lactose intolerant, almond milk, soy and lactose free milk it either don't sit well with him or he refuse to drink it. He will drink water and watered down juice but other than that just food. The lady at WIC said he really should have milk. Any suggestions?

My SO is lactose intolerant and we buy the Fair Life milk. It's kinda spendy but it has more nutrients and less sugar than normal milk and doesn't have lactose.

I refused to drink as a child, so parents gave up. I'm healthy and almost never get sick, he can get the nutrition in milk from other foods.

My 14 month old refused to drink milk as well. Tried regular and goats. The only thing he will drink is rice milk. He loves it! I would give it a try. As long as they eat a well balanced diet and plenty of water it's not a huge problem if they don't like milk.

Almond coconut or just skip the milk and make sure he eats a varied diet

They don't need milk at all actually as long as they are getting proper vitamins in their food. The pediatrician may recommend supplements if tests come back low. Milk is not a nessecity and actually doesn't carry a lot of nutrients. My daughter is 4 and never drank milk she just doesn't like it. Pediatrician said no worries! Cheese, yogurt etc.
