TTC after miscarriage help!

Tomorrow will be a month since we've lost our baby.. Doctor told us we can ttc again once I get my first period. I have no sign of it. Any help? I've done tons of research on when you'll get it but it's all different. Do you get your period on your normal times as before or will it be just random? It's really stressful because we tried for 8 months then lost the baby. 😔😔
