How do you feel about decor?

I've recently found myself obsessed with interior decorating! Decor! Throw pillows! Accent rugs, end tables and endless amounts of DIY! 
My husband enjoys it to an extent but I am truly obsessed and will drop all my money on a cute lamp or succulent planter. He doesn't care for decor because it serves no purpose other than being there and I see what he's saying but the right decor can make or break a room! 
What are your thoughts on decor? 
And if you have any rooms that your super proud of in your house send me pics!! I'm so sick of Pinterest (it's all the same!!) or if you found any good steals/deals ❤️❤️

I love it! And my husband does too, he always comments on how nice everything looks. When we first moved into our home it was empty and now everything is so colorful and full. We enjoy it. Not every room is done but slowly. I think it makes the home comfy and "homie"  of course not like grandmas house lol but not a bachelor pad.

I worked as an interior designer and loved it. Personally, I would never drop that much money into buying a bunch of decorative shit for my house because I've moved enough times to know that you will hate yourself for everything you buy once you have to pack and unpack. However, I do enjoy it. 
I think a good amount is perfect, some people go way overboard and it makes it look super tacky and pinteresty.
