early af after miscaridge

Hi all just after some advice I had a miscarriage 15th march was meant to be 12 weeks but baby had stopped growing at 8 . Happened naturally and was waiting till after 1st menstural to try again.had my first period 17th April.I'm not due on until next week however af came today cd23 is this normal? I'm worried that shorter menstural will decrease my chances of getting my rainbow baby that I'm desperate for.Any advice or comments I'd be so grateful x
