Working right after delivery?

Has any one started working right after delivery/ recovery? If so, who watches the newborn and does daycare take care of newborns? I want to work but I don't have anyone to watch my newborn.

I work at a daycare in the infant room, and I have to take 6 weeks off. Daycares don't accept infants until 6 weeks until they get their vaccinations.

Daycares wont accept an child younger than 6 weeks. I started back working 2 weeks after I had my son, but I was able to do 90% of my job from the house so it worked out well.

You mean like the next day? Most daycares don't take babies until 6 weeks (at least where I'm from) so you would likely have to have a family member watch them.

With my fourth child, I went back to work full-time at 11 days postpartum. We have a nanny.

Some take them at 4 weeks, but if you can stay with your baby. They need their mom.
