lonely and confused

My boyfriend was flirting with another girl, so I confronted him about it. He told me he had feelings for her, but he didint act on it. I felt hurt so I broke up with him. Now he wants me back, and he's been texting and calling me for days. I REALLY miss him and he's truly a good guy. Would it be bad to take him back or do I need to stay strong and stay away?
