So my husband's co-worker is a very generous guy and wanted to buy us something for our baby on the way.. My husband told him we were registered on Amazon... Yesterday his co-worker asked if we'd received the gift he got us, we had not. Today my husband was talking with him and found out that he'd purchased a gift off of someone else's registry who apparently lives in our town. Turns out instead of searching our registry, he had found a registry under our baby's name, a complete stranger to us. So he bought someone else a really nice (expensive) baby monitor and had it shipped to their address!

So, has anyone else had something like this happen? Any way for our friend to be reimbursed or get anything back? I feel awful for him! But am also a little sad that I doubt he will get us something after this ordeal..
