When can you hear a heartbeat

I saw the doctor today and I am about 6week 3 says the doctor said it's too soon to hear the heartbeat.... thought you could now?

I'm 6w1d and had a transvaginal u/s today and they told me they could see the heartbeat. Not sure about *hearing* it though.

I seen my baby's heartbeat at 5w 5d but did not hear it until I was 9w 4d

We couldn't hear my baby's heartbeat at 8 weeks abdominally but we could see it. Had to have a vaginal ultrasound to hear it. 6 weeks is a bit early for some people. Depends on how good the machine is, how good the tech is, and how much weight you have on your tummy.

Just wondering if when the doctor said you are 6 weeks 3 was he basing that on the date of your LMP?

I was able to see my baby girl's heartbeat at 7.5 weeks along but my doctor didn't play her heartbeat on the Doppler till 11 weeks along. So I didn't hear it till I was 11 weeks along. It's normal for doctor to wait so long. After 11 weeks I went in every 4 weeks and Heard my girls heartbeat and now I'm down to every 3 weeks.

My Dr told me between 6 and 7.  I'm at 5 and 4 days now and I can't wait to hear a heart beat soon 😊

No at 10 weeks we went and couldn't hear a heart beat at 13 weeks we had or ultrasound and see the heart beating and at 14 weeks we finally heard it on the doppler :) it normal they say that you should only be able to hear it with a doppler at 12 to 14 weeks :) try not to worry :)

My first appointment they measured me at 6w1d and we heard the heartbeat, it did take a bit for the tech to get it though. She was surprised she was able to find it, said it's hard to get that early
