Ladies, I've had my IUD (copper) for 4 months now. I have to admit that sex is amazing because my boyfriend and I don't understand anything else. However, ever since I got it inserted I lost 10 pounds, I now weigh 110. I've gotten a UTI, which I had never experienced before. Is that common? I maintain pretty good hygiene, I shower daily sometimes even twice a day, I don't use panty liners as they can create bacteria, due to moisture, which can lead to infection. I don't know what to do. I love how effective it is, but I'm not sure I want to deal with UTIs or more weight loss since I'm already anemic.
