bf says his dream is to move across the country but I wouldn't

Bf wants to move somewhere warm across the country. We're on east coast now. He doesn't really have it together but that's his ideal dream and we're both early 20s. I "have it together" and logically it would make sense for me to establish my career where I am because of opportunities available to me here, but it makes me sad to think about potentially not being able to compromise in the future (years from now becuz this wouldn't happen anytime soon) and that scares me. What to do?
