Please Help!

Please help I'm confused. Let me explain...So I had my daughter because in January of this year. I stopped bleeding 2 weeks after having her and started my period and it was a normal period. After that period I took birth control. I only took four pills before I stopped taking them because I didn't like the way they made me feel. As soon as I stopped the pills I started to spot for about a week. That spotting stopped on April 4th. So now let me get to why I'm worried. I haven't had a period ever since then. If you can even count the spotting as a period. My app is telling me I'm 8 days late and it's been over a month now since I've had any bleeding. I took a pregnancy test about a week ago and it was negative. Should I test again or is this normal?
