incomplete miscarriage? help me

On the 5th of April I started to miscarry at 11 weeks with a blighted ovum. I bleed for three and a half weeks what I would liken to spotting or a very light period (never soaked a pad, trace amounts on the toilet paper). I have been taking pregnancy tests every week as an at home measure that my hcg levels are going down as well as a couple of blood tests. Last results where two weeks ago with a hcg count of 550. Anyway took a test on Sunday and the results were quite strong (test line was the same colour as the control line) so went to the dr and am waiting for bloods. Has anyone been through anything similar? D&C aren't common place where I live so I'm not too sure what's happening. Ekkk, long post sorry
