name problems

Anyone else have a favorite baby girl name that they absolutely loved but settled on a second favorite name because of their boyfriend/husband. I was set on the name Harper for my daughter for months but my second favorite name was always Kennedy & he said he agreed with Kennedy just didn't like Harper. Made me sad I'm going with my second favorite but I picked her middle name also so it's only fair.
