peeing or water broke??

FTM, 36 weeks ..Will I know the difference if I peed or my water broke?? I haven't had contractions or anything.

If it's pee you'll be able to hold in .. you can't hold in when your water breaks

If your able to hold it in it's probably pee, if it is either a gush or keeps trickling it's probably your water. I never had contractions either until my water broke.

I think you'll know. I thought I peed until I went to the bathroom and it was gushing out uncontrollably and kept being that way when inlaid back in bed and had puddles everywhere I went but of course everyone's experience is diff and your water may not break at all.

I wasn't sure at first but when it just kept tricking and trickling I figured it out. Lol, I was in a bit of denial. My mom had always said contractions hurt after her water broke, mine still didn't.
