What is your Baby Routine?

Share your baby routine!

I haven't started a set routine yet but I'm thinking:
8pm: Diaper change
Get in PJs/swaddled
8:15- Get bottle from dad (I'm ebf but want bonding time for baby and daddy)
8:30- Bedtime story, Lullaby, Rocking & snuggles
9pm: Baby sleeps

We used to do final feeding right before bed, thinking it'd stretch him longer through the night, but even though he didn't "fall asleep while eating" we still had a lot of trouble (suddenly and out of nowhere) teaching him to settle down and put himself back to sleep without a bottle once he turned four months old and started sleeping more lightly. The solution for us was to push final feeding at least 15-20 minutes away before bedtime, so he doesn't connect it to resting at all. Huge difference!

Also, some parents don't like blankies or stuffies in case they get attached to one and take it everywhere, but we set out to have special stuffies for bedtime and naptimes, and it has made it infinitely easier to get him to relax and rest or nap or go to bed at unfamiliar times, car trips and such, or in unfamiliar places when we travel. Definitely recommend it.

So now his dinner and bedtime looks like this:
 
7:20 - solids for dinner, mostly play foods and some of whatever we're having (he's ten months old)
7:45 - snuggles with his favorite softie toy while we do the final milk feeding downstairs
7:55 - say goodnight to Daddy, go upstairs
8:00 - diaper change, pajamas
8:05 - storytime in the rocking chair
8:10 or 8:15 - the same bedtime songs while he snuggles his softie toy
8:15 or 8:20 - he's in his own bed, falling asleep

We feed him once (milk) in bed at 6:45 AM and then he sleeps another two hours, wakes up right after 8:30. Naps twice every day (was 3 naps until 8 1/2 months old). Meals (milk) and snacks (solid) throughout.

My son is 8 months and we've been doing this since about 2.5 and it has helped a LOT getting him used to bedtime. He associates bath time with winding down for the night so after that he's always fairly calm and groggy. It's obviously not set in stone (there's always wiggle room with a baby), but we usually stay on schedule within about half an hour unless he's sick or having a growth spurt or something.

Bath time with sleepy time wash

7:10 
Sleepy time lotion and jammies

7:30 
Reading and cuddles or quiet play time

7:45 
Final feeding and diaper check

8pm 
Singing and bed

We've been playing with what time works best for  bedtime because she's a night owl it seems, but been doing this since 8 weeks and most of the time it works except when sick, growth spurt, or sleep regression. She's 17 weeks now. it's:

7:45 quiet play time, cuddles, skin to skin nurse on demand in living room

9:00 - dad changes diaper, puts night time lotion on, jammies, swaddles, kisses goodnight and then I nurse.

Usually asleep in crib by 9:30-9:40. Recently she's been fighting sleep and is awake till 10-10:30 at times.

She usually sleeps all the way till 8am. But is recently waking at 3-4 for a feed.

My son is a month old and wd are already establishing a routine. We did with our first son who just turned 5 and even though we've relaxed some with his schedule he very much sticks to a schedule. Right now this is what we do:

8pm: bath time
8:10: lotion/Jammie
8:20: bottle
8:40ish: bed time

We are both teachers so as he gets a bit older probably in the next couple weeks we will start reading. Right now one does this one and the other gets the other son ready and down by 830pm so we have some time to ourselves.
