Breastfeeding Struggles
I'm one week post partum and really struggling with breastfeeding. I'm really just looking for empathy more than advice.
My nipples are ripped up. I'm lucky to have a mom who is a lactation consultant, so she's been super helpful.
I just want to be able to feed my baby!! Currently, I'm pumping and my husband is cup feeding her. She pretty much just wants to suck when I'm holding her. She gets so mad at me because I'm not giving her a boob! We also went to the pharmacy this morning and got some prescription nipple cream. Hopefully that will help!
My poor husband hasn't been sleeping well because she would only sleep on him last night. I feel badly and guilty that I can't do this right now.
I'm hoping after 24 hours I'll be able to feed her again.
To sum up: pumping sucks, I miss my baby cuddles, hoping to be able to feed her again soon.
