Mothers day???

Are you considered a mother if you gave birth to a child and ended up doing drugs and the state taking away your baby and you never once bought or taken care of your own baby. And only care for drugs?

Reason I ask is my boyfriends brothers girlfriend head a baby with someone else and she thinks she gets mothers day when she hasn't once cared for her baby or done anything for her own daughter. Note do drugs and pass it to her. And yet she thinks she gets mothers day is that fair? That others tend and care for there own children on a daily bases and she thinks it's not right that others get mothers day. Those are real mothers.

What do you all think should she also get mothers day?? Even though she never cared or done one thing for her own baby.
