You are not ready to have sex!
I see a lot of young girls who claim to be ready to have sex and most of the time I just have to sit there and shake my head.
Don't get me wrong, I see nothing wrong with having sex as long as it is legal, you are ready and you are safe.
You are NOT ready if:
1) the topic of sex grosses you out
2) you are uncomfortable talking about contraception with your partner
3) you are too immature to get contraception
4) you think getting pregnant will never happen to you
5) you can't handle going to the lady doctor to get a check up
If you are not mature enough to be having sex, don't do it. Sex is for those who can handle everything that comes with having sex. Sex is more than having fun and feeling good. Sex is possible stds, possible pregnancy, uncomfortable conversations and being mature enough to deal with what may happen. You have to be realistic.
