pumping while working?

Ladies just curious, when you pump at work is your pumping break paid or unpaid??  Was told today that employers cannot tell you that you can't pump but they do not have to pay you

I just go into the designated office every two hours and pump about 20 mins. No mention of unpaid time but talk to your HR dept.

I don't clock out to pump, I've just never asked if I needed too but doc has never said a word to me about it!

I'm a teacher and pump at work in my classroom. It is not ideal! No extra pay or breaks either.

It's true. Pumping time does not have to be paid. However, your employer has to provide you with the ability to make up lost time while pumping, within normal operating hours. I'm salaried so my pumping breaks don't count as breaks plus I have the luxury of pumping in my office and can work while pumping.

I'm a teacher and pumped during my 30 min lunch. I stopped last month because I couldn't take not having an actual break!
