Does age matter?

Assuming they're 18+, is there ever a such thing as too big of an age gap between two people in a relationship for you? How big is too big and why?

Over ten years is way too big for me, once you're over 25.

Over 18, I'd say no. For me, however, personally, anything close to my father's age is a no go. He's 18 years older than me. I just think it would be weird to be with someone who's old enough to be my father. That's just me.

For me personally I don't like an age gap, there's only 2.5 weeks between my SO and I. However there's 9 years between my parents and they've been together 25 years

My partner is 19 years older than I!!! And you would never know we're like big kids!!!! We perfectly fit with each other in every way! We think the same we agree the same we like the same! And when we don't it's gorgeous to hear different versions of things you would never think of. I had a fiancée close to my age for 9 years and he left for my best friend! I then met my now partner and he is the best person I have ever met in my life and I never knew I could be this happy and loved!!! It really is a number! You wake up to your life everyday. Do what makes you the happiest because no body else matter when it comes to your happiness!!!! My family love him his love me and we're expecting our first baby!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ never discriminate against anyone for what society has tried placing in certain morals and standards!!! Be happy!!!!

If they're adults no, there may be disadvantages and different struggles that come from big age gaps but that doesn't mean people shouldn't do it. I personally would want to keep it ten years and below though, but others can do what they like.

For me personally I was always with someone a few years older. I mean I had a non intimate relationship with someone who was almost 20 years older than me and it was so awkward to me. I know it's different for everyone though if you truly connect with someone then age doesn't matter when both people are legal.

We've got a 6 year age difference.
I have nothing in common with any other 22 year old I've met. My fiancé is 28, and my best friend. I think people's maturity levels matter more than their actual age. I'll admit when it gets into the "old enough to be your parent" window I get a little judgey.
