coconut oil for yeast infection!?

Question

So I'm not sure if I have a yeast infenction or not.. it's just a little inflamed & itchy but my discharge isn't abnormal or anything. (it's impossible for my to have an STI so forget that lol) 
Didn't want to waste money on creams or whatever if I don't have one so I've found online that coconut oil helps & was wondering if anybody else has tried it & could leave a comment. Thank you 😊

Yes, I personally use this method when I catch the early symptoms. Make sure you use natural coconut oil. Try Whole Foods and/or Sprouts, etc.

Dip an all natural cotton tampon in coconut oil that is in the liquid state ( do not melt the coconut via Microwave. Put the coconut oil in a separate bowl and let it naturally melt and/or put the separate bowl of coconut oil on top of a bowl of boiled water. Kind of how you heat up baby bottles on the stove?) hope that makes sense.

Once you've let the tampon soak in the coconut oil, insert it into your vagina. (I know sounds crazy, I said same thing until it actually worked for me and I was relieved).

It does not hurt, it is not painful. I did mine every night when I went to sleep (only while I was sleep). I did it for four nights, No more! Do not do it for more than four nights.

My symptoms improved. But, Of course some yeasts infections are more far along, and if that happens to be yyou, you may have to resort to the doctor.

Another thing I do to combat yeast infections and UTIs is by actively taking probiotics. Especially when I feel one coming on. (I.e. Renew Life - Ultimate FLORA Probiotic , specifically for vaginal health. )

Just get an over the counter oral pill.  Diflucan (what we can get in Canada, not sure if it has a different or generic name elsewhere) is a pill that you only have to take once, no creams or ointments or suppositories required.
Otherwise, you have to cut all sugars and many starches out of your diet, because yeast is candida, and it feeds on sugar in your body.  So a natural home remedy you can apply/insert vaginally is plain (non sweetened) yogurt, but the over the counter pill is seriously one and done.
