Could I have herpes? No pics.

Question

I'm panicking because I'm 38 weeks pregnant and 2 weeks ago after I shaved down there I noticed a cluster of itchy bumps. I assumed it was razor bumps but it wasn't gone away. Worst case scenario Google has me thinking it could be herpes.

But I've been with my husband for 6 years, could it have been dormant that long? We haven't even had sex for the weeks so I'm confused. Going to doctors tomorrow.

If you shave, it's probably shave bumps or ingrown hairs. herpes is not itchy, it is blisters that are sore and burn. I get shave bumps all the time that are similar to pimples and they even sometimes have white heads to pop. relax :)

Have you been able to get a mirror and take a look? I know it's super tough navigating around the belly. It's probably razor bumps but it could also be stretch marks. I got stretch marks all over my vaginal area when I was super pregnant. They were incredibly itchy and felt like bumps. The only reason I knew what they were was because I had a full length mirror I could get a good look at my lady parts in.

It's very possible. Get to your obgyn ASAP and have it swabbed so you know. It often occurrs during pregnancy as the immune system is weakened. Either way you 3 will be okay
