Please help me! My 10 month old has started screaming when confined to a high chair, car seat or shopping cart and is seeking attention or is bored. The scream is very high pitched and shrill, he is not crying and many times he'll smile after he does it. The screaming isn't continuous, he'll let out a scream and then stop for like 10 seconds and continue. At home or in the car we ignore him until he stops screaming and then give him attention when he quiets down. But in a store or restaurant I don't even know what to do other than leave. Is anyone else dealing with this right now? I'd hate to stop going places especially since my baby gets easily bored at home.
