My wedding is in July! Any advice for our big day?

Marrying my Airman July 22nd! I can't wait! 😁 Any tips for the big day? I want everything to be perfect. I have worked so hard planning this and my fiance and I have spent do much money on it. I know the marriage is the most important part, but I just want our day to be a day to remember.

I just got married on Sunday! Just enjoy every minute of it together. If your not doing it. I suggest doing a first look it definitely helped with my nerves. Our day was amazing. Walking down the isle all I saw was him that's all that mattered. It was amazing for us and that's the important part.

Best advice someone gave me...at 1 point during reception stand in the back of the room with your new husband and just watch everyone for a minutes. Just to take in the moment and see everyone who came to celebrate you both.

I just had my big day 2 weeks ago. My advice would be to make sure you enjoy yourselves. I know a lot of people who regretted having a big wedding because they felt like they needed to host the wedding. For mine, we went around to all the tables during dinner and thanked everyone for coming. Then we ate and had the best time of our lives. I had to remind myself that it was our celebration and that we weren't there to please our guests. I was disappointed some people left and I didn't get to say bye but I was having a blast and didn't even care. We opted for a band rather than a DJ and that was so worth the extra money.

I also recommend having a list of people you want in pictures for the photographer. I have divorced parents, step parents, and a huge family in general. I had a long list for my formal wedding pictures and it all went so fast and they tuened out amazing. I also recommend finding poses you want to do online. I made a Pinterest board of poses and then printed them into a binder for the photographer. It was a huge help and I didn't have to rely on the photographer to come up with them.

Have a good coordinator who will do all the worrying. Also know that there's a good chance that something may not go exactly as you would like. It doesn't matter as long you and your spouse get married. It will be the fastest day of your life so you really don't have time to get flustered over little things.

Create a first fight box. You write letters and put alcohol/cash to buy dinner in it. When you get in your first fight, you open it. Honestly my husband and my first fight after the wedding was terrible. Once I read his love letter, everything got so much better

Don't stress on the day, it's too late to change anything so go with the flow. I also suggest a master/mistress of ceremony, someone that you trust that all questions and problems will go to on your wedding day. I chose my aunt and uncle :)
